Turmeric Teas - the new superfood
Did you know
Turmeric
contains Curcumin. Curcumin is responsible for the yellow colour. It helps to to protect against wide range of diseases. Problem is Curcumin by itself is not readily absorbed by the body.
Turmeric has poor bioavailability, meaning your body can't tap into its so-called 'superpowers' because it doesn't get absorbed well, and you metabolize and eliminate it quickly,” All you need is black pepper to increase absorption.
Black Pepper
contains piperine which increases the absorption of Curcumin by whooping 2000% according to a study by Journal Plant medical studies.
Combination of turmeric and black pepper has been used for centuries by Ayurveda in India to treat many ailments.
